1. Complementary pick up shuttle from Kuching Int. Airport to Riverside Majestic Hotel will be provided on 16th September 2018 (Sunday) at 3.00 p.m and 8.00 p.m (only TWO rounds). Those participants who wish to use the service should inform to us earlier.

2. Half day Kuching City-tour Trip will be held on the second day of iDECON 2018 (18th September 2018 Tuesday - 1.30 p.m - 6.30 p.m). Complementary limited seats are provided (open for ONLY 35 seats). ON FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. Those participants who interested to join for the tour should register during the conference registration.

The 7th International Conference on Design and Concurrent Engineering 2018 (iDECON 2018)

Science, engineering and technology have been an important force in manufacturing sustainability. It is essential to provide options and informing decisions that enable society to move towards more sustainable pathways. Thus, it is important to examine closely the ways in which manufacturing communities, social communities, processes and values shape the priorities of research and development. As well as the condition under which its potential benefits can be reaped. By integrating the broader perspective into the working principle of science, engineering and technology, it can help these communities not only to generate new knowledge but also implementing a robust solution to society most pressing sustainable development challenge. Thus, with the theme “Industry 4.0: Manufacturing Excellence and Sustainability”, this International Conference on Design and Concurrent Engineering 2018 (iDECON 2018) will create great opportunities for researchers to instill their research towards sustainable manufacturing as well as technology.
